Treasure Hunt for the Grown-Ups

The Carrington Cellars

Located in the transformed power station vaults adjacent to the Carrington hotel, are the Carrington Cellars. A gorgeous labyrinth, well stocked with local and exotic foreign booze and gourmet goodies, the cellars are the perfect spot to sample wines, boutique beers, produce from local valleys and the western plains, and are delight to become lost in. A grown up treasure hunt begins, my basket fills with cool bottles and soft cheese, and the kids find some gingerbread men…we are all thrilled with our bounty. The shelves are jam packed with enticing entertaining “easy’s”, and likewise the fridges, with delicious well priced and locally made ready to go meals.Entry is at the top end of park street, or walk from Katoomba street through the Carrington grounds. An experience in elegance and great taste.Trading Hours  on weekdays 10am -8pm, Friday & Saturday 9am-9pm, Sunday 10am-7pm www.thecarrington.com.au
